About the study

The aim of the study is to investigate reliability, validity, and responsiveness of the Static Balance Test in patients with Multiple Sclerosis.

Who can take part?

You may be eligible to participate in the study if you meet the following criteria:

Inclusion criteria

  1. at least 18 years,
  2. neurologist-diagnosed Multiple Sclerosis,
  3. Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) score < 7,
  4. able to walk 10 m with or without aids,
  5. no MS exacerbation within the last 2 months,
  6. use of stable medication in the last 2 months,
Exclusion criteria

  1. other neurologic disorder,
  2. Pregnancy,
  3. orhopedic problems iaffecting gait and stance,
  4. visual, auditory, orientational problems that could affect study results,
  5. Cardiovascular, pulmonary, and humoral disease.
